The UniFi Protect Crestron Home Driver requires a Module Instance License to function with your Crestron Home processor. Each UniFi Protect controller requires a separate license.
License Activation
Your license will be available immediately after purchase, no waiting required. The activation process is simple:
- The Driver generates a unique Activation Key, shown in the driver's settings page in the Crestron Home Setup app
- Purchase the license on this page using the Activation Key (and a site reference of your choosing i.e. Jones Residence)
- Press the "Refresh License From Server" button on the License Helper Driver.
That's it! No manual entry of license codes or keys needed. See the driver's help file for detailed step-by-step instructions.
Licenses are tied to the Crestron Home processor's MAC address. If you are integrating more than one UniFi Protect controller on the same processor, additional licenses are added to that same Activation Key — you do not need a separate key for each controller.
